Files never leave your device
Every PDF tool you need, running in your browser
Merge, split, compress, convert, sign and protect PDFs for free. Your computer does the work, so your files never get uploaded to a server.
Organize
Combine files, pull pages out, put them back in a different order, or turn sideways scans upright.
Optimize
Shrink files for email, strip color for cheaper printing, and lock form fields so nobody edits them later.
Convert
Move content in and out of PDF: pictures, plain text, Word documents and Markdown notes.
Edit & annotate
Stamp, number, sign, crop and compare documents without installing an editor.
Security
Add a password, remove one you know, or scrub hidden data before you send a file to someone else.
More handy tools
Handy extras beyond the PDF toolbox, built with the same privacy-first approach.
Why people use NewKitApp
Private by design
Your browser opens and edits the file. We have no upload endpoint, so we never see your contracts, invoices or scans.
Fast on big files
Skipping the upload and download round trip saves minutes on a 50 MB scan, and the tools keep working on slow connections.
Free with no limits
No daily quota, no watermark, no account. Process as many files as your device can handle.
Works on any device
Use it on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iPhone. All you need is a modern browser.
How it works
- 01
Pick a tool and a file
Drop a PDF onto the page or tap the button to choose one from your device.
- 02
Adjust the options
Choose pages, quality, passwords or positions. Previews show you what will change.
- 03
Download the result
Your browser builds the new file in seconds. Save it, then close the tab and nothing stays behind.
PDF tools without the upload
Most online PDF services ask you to upload your document, wait while their server processes it, and then download the result. That flow sends a copy of your file to a company you know little about, and it puts a cap on file size and on how many files you can process each day.
NewKitApp works the other way around. When you open a tool, your browser downloads a small program written in JavaScript. That program reads your PDF from your own disk, makes the changes in memory, and hands you the new file. You can switch on airplane mode after the page loads and most tools keep working.
We built the site on open libraries that browsers have run for years: pdf.js from Mozilla to read and draw pages, and pdf-lib to write them. The guides under each tool explain what happens to your file, which settings to pick, and where the limits are.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool on NewKitApp processes files inside your browser tab. The site has no server that receives documents. You can confirm this in your browser's developer tools: the Network tab shows no request carrying your file.
Is NewKitApp free?
Yes. Every tool is free, with no account, no watermark and no daily limit. Ads on the content pages pay for the domain and hosting.
Is there a file size limit?
We set no limit. Your device's memory sets the practical ceiling. A recent laptop handles PDFs of several hundred megabytes; older phones may struggle above 100 MB.
Do the tools work offline?
Once a tool page has loaded, most tools keep working without a connection, because the processing code already sits in your browser.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile. Very old browsers without WebAssembly or modern JavaScript support may fail on the conversion tools.
