The PDF tools themselves use no cookies. Files you open stay in the tab's memory and disappear when you close it.
Analytics cookies (with consent where required)
If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID> to tell visits apart and count how pages are used. They last up to 2 years.
Advertising cookies (with consent where required)
Google AdSense and its partners set cookies such as __gads, __gpi, IDE and NID to show ads, cap how often you see them, prevent fraud and, if you allow it, personalise ads. These can last from a session to 13 months. Google's list of cookie names and purposes is at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Your choices
- Consent message: when advertising or analytics cookies are in use, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland can accept or reject them in the consent message shown first, and change their choice later through its privacy settings link.
- Google Ads Settings: turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Industry opt-outs: aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
- Browser settings: every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies won't stop the PDF tools from working.
