About Organize PDF
Organize PDF shows every page of your document as a thumbnail and lets you rebuild it: drag pages into a new order, turn individual pages, and drop the ones you don't want. When the layout looks right, you save a new PDF.
Scanners and phone apps often produce pages in the wrong order, especially with double-sided originals. A report assembled from several sources may have the summary at the end. A contract may include a blank page that someone scanned by mistake. This tool fixes all three in one pass.
Each page keeps its content. The tool changes only the order and the rotation flag, so text stays sharp and searchable.
How to use Organize PDF
- Open your PDF with the Choose PDF file button or by dropping it on the page.
- Drag a thumbnail to a new position. On touch screens, use the arrow buttons under each page.
- Click the rotate button to turn a page 90 degrees clockwise. Click again to keep turning.
- Click the trash button to remove a page. Use Reset to start over.
- Click Save new PDF and download the result.
Visual editing
You see every page as a thumbnail, so you work with the content instead of with page numbers.
Rotate per page
Turn single pages without touching the rest, ideal for one landscape table inside a portrait report.
Reverse in one click
Fix documents a scanner fed back to front with the Reverse order button.
Lossless
Pages get copied, not re-rendered. The output matches the original quality.
Fixing scanned double-sided documents
A sheet-fed scanner without duplex support scans the fronts of a stack first, then you flip the stack and it scans the backs. You end up with pages in the order 1, 3, 5, 7, then 8, 6, 4, 2. Organize PDF lets you drag the back pages into their slots, and the thumbnails make it obvious which page belongs where.
For long documents, a faster route exists. Split the file into the fronts and the backs with Split PDF, reverse the backs with Reverse order here, then merge and interleave by dragging. For a handful of pages, dragging in one file is quicker.
Rotation works through a flag stored on each page. PDF readers read that flag and turn the page when they display or print it. The page's content stays untouched, so rotating a page four times brings it back to where it started.
Removing pages here creates a new file without them, and the tool drops any images or fonts that only those pages used. If you deleted a large photo page, the new file will be smaller.
Tips for better results
- Zoom out in your browser (Ctrl or Cmd and minus) to see more thumbnails at once when you reorder long documents.
- For bulk removal by page number, Delete PDF Pages accepts ranges such as 2-4, 9.
- If every page needs the same rotation, Rotate PDF does it in one step.
- Check the page counter in the sidebar before you save, so you know how many pages the new file will have.
Questions and answers
Is there a page limit?
No. Very long documents take longer to render thumbnails, but the tool handles them. Your device's memory sets the practical limit.
Does rotating a page change its quality?
No. The tool updates the page's rotation value. The text and images stay as they were.
Can I undo a change?
Use Reset to return to the original order. Nothing changes in your original file until you download the new one, and even then the original stays on your disk.
Can I combine pages from two PDFs here?
Merge the two files with Merge PDF first, then open the merged file here to arrange the pages.
Does it work on tablets?
Yes. Use the arrow buttons under each thumbnail to move pages if dragging feels awkward on touch.
