Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

NewKitApp("we", "us", "our") provides free online tools at https://newkitapp.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate.

The short version

Almost every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you paste text into the JSON Formatter, generate a password, or create a QR code, that data is processed on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not require an account to use any tool. We do use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns, and we display advertising to fund the site — both are covered in detail below.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

If you submit the Contact form or leave tool feedback, we collect what you type into that form — your message, and an email address only if you choose to provide one for a reply. We do not require this information to use any tool on the site; it's only collected if you actively choose to contact us.

Information collected automatically

We use two categories of automatic data collection:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first analytics service that measures aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate location by country, referrer) without using cookies or collecting personally identifiable information, and without tracking you across other websites. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation for details on how this works.
  • Anonymous search logs— when you use the on-site search, we may log the search term and whether it returned a result, to help us understand what tools people are looking for that we don't yet have. This log is not tied to your identity, IP address, or any other identifying information.

Cookies and advertising

This site is funded by advertising through Google AdSense and, in some cases, affiliate links. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. See our Cookie Policy for a full breakdown of the cookies used on this site.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not upload the content you paste into a tool (JSON, text, images, passwords, etc.) to any server — it stays in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close or refresh the tab.
  • We do not require account creation or login for any tool.
  • We do not use invasive tracking scripts beyond the privacy-respecting analytics described above and standard advertising cookies disclosed in our Cookie Policy.

Tools that do involve server processing

A small number of tools structurally require a server-side request, because browsers can't perform certain operations directly, or because the tool's entire purpose requires storing something so it can be retrieved later. Every tool that works this way says so explicitly in its own FAQ section. The exceptions today are:

  • DNS Lookup and the Email category's SPF/DKIM/DMARC lookup tools— the domain name you enter is sent to our server, which queries a public DNS resolver and returns the result. We don't log or store the domains you look up.
  • Text Share— unlike every other tool, this one is a sharing tool by design: the text or code you submit is stored on our server (in our database) so that the link you generate can be opened by someone else, on a different device, until it expires. Don't share passwords, API keys, or other sensitive data through it — see the tool's own FAQ and our Terms of Service for details, including that shared content is unmoderated and excluded from search engine indexing.
  • AI Domain Generator— the keyword or description you enter is sent to our server, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider to generate name suggestions and returns the result. Neither side stores it beyond what's needed to serve that one request.

Every other live tool on the site processes your input entirely client-side.

Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party infrastructure to operate the site:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, DDoS protection, and analytics.
  • Google AdSense— advertising. Subject to Google's own privacy policy.
  • NVIDIA NIM — the AI model behind the AI Domain Generator tool. Only the keyword you enter into that specific tool is sent to it.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — spam protection on our contact and feedback forms, which does not track users across sites the way a traditional CAPTCHA service might.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we collect so little personal information in the first place (only what you voluntarily submit via the Contact form), most requests can be resolved simply by not submitting that form, or by emailing us at hello@newkitapp.com to request deletion of a prior submission.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here.
