Common Mistakes
- Leaving the tax rate at a nonzero default when tax doesn't apply — double-check it reads 0 if you don't need to charge tax.

- Not including enough detail in the description field — "Services" is far less useful on a paid invoice's audit trail than "Website redesign — homepage & pricing page".
